CTG is seeking to hire a Metrology Process Engineer to work with our Fortune 50 client onsite in Yorktown Heights, NY. This is a long-term ongoing full time position. This is a fantastic opportunity to embark on a career in Research and Development.

Hours: 3:00 PM - Midnight
(Must be willing to work in either of two shifts 6AM to 3PM or 3PM to midnight; this position is from 3PM to midnight)

Job Descriptions:
The Analysis area is responsible for operating metrology tools, scanning electron microscopes (SEM), cross sectioning wafers, sample preparation, and characterizing results in the Microelectronics Research Laboratory.
The candidate must understand the fundamentals of metrology, be capable of operating various scanning electron microscopes, and show familiarity with common methods. Focus Ion Beam (FIB) experience is a plus.
Experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing line is a desired.
The hired candidate will work internally with research group across multiple disciplines to enable fundamental learning, new devices, and system prototyping in memory, electronics, photonics, microfluidics, and more applications.
Execute scanning electron microscope metrology on research and development on wafers.
Must become intimately knowledgeable of tooling capabilities in area of scanning electron microscopy.
Cross sectional and top down analysis of integrated circuits on silicon wafers
Perform tool qualifications and maintain tool and process qualification records.
Communicate with processing staff and product owners to ensure accurate processing of wafers.
Will be working most of day on SEM/FIB instrumentation.
Must be able to learn multiple analysis tools; TXRF, XPS, SIMS, ashing etching and sputtering
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
BA/BS in engineering or equivalent or greater
At least 1 year experience in metrology
Ability to SEM/FIB metrology tools and prep samples for analysis.
Must be US citizen
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
At least 1 year hands on experience in clean room processing, such as SEM metrology and FIB.
At least 1 year experience with processing/inspection tools, such as optical microscopes, Scanning electron microscopes and focus ion beam.
Ability to learn fast, execute with minimal errors, document with details, and communicate with clarity.
Multitasking is a must.
SAFETY Requirements:
Standing on your feet for extended periods of time
Required to lift 85 pounds (10 gallon carboy) to knee level
The ability to cart 55 gallon drum with contents (Est weight 500 lbs) from one end of the building to the other (1/4 mile)
Dexterity is required to self evacuate from laboratory
This is a physically demanding job
Complete online safety classes as outlined by site safety
Complete provided safety classes required to work in the MRL (cleanroom areas)
