CTG has one open position a for an EDMS System Administrator to join our Information Management Support team in Whiting, Indiana.

Position Summary

The System Administrator is responsible for the administration of the Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), Documentum and Citadon, that support collaborative work within a capital projects setting. This role will be responsible for users, groups, security, attributes, table updates in the EDMS, Microsoft Access database and custom application authoring, designing, and implementation, along with customer service support to the users of the EDMS and Access Databases.

Essential Functions / Key Accountabilities

  • Administer Electronic Information Management Systems

  • Definition of system requirements

  • Configuration of the systems for document filing

  • Testing and implementation of new versions of systems

  • User addition/deletion

  • Manage access groups

  • User support

  • Design queries

  • Manage tables

  • Coordinating data migrations and system upgrades off hours to minimize site impact.

  • Work with supporting IT teams to troubleshoot issues and expedite solutions.

  • Collaborate with other clients and sites in identifying and applying best practices and continuous improvement.

  • Responsible to develop training materials, guides and presentations.

  • Responsible for training one-on-one and classroom environment.

  • Microsoft Access database authoring, design and implementation – Forms, Reports, Permissions.

  • Custom application design and implementation including: Database structure, Forms, Reporting, Permissions.

  • Auditing of information management systems to identify gaps and non-conformance.

  • Assist with the filing and re-filing of electronic documents.

  • Provide internal and external customer service.

  • Flexibility and cooperation regarding the filling-in for coworkers during absences and the assistance to other coworkers with heavy workloads when required.

Education

  • Associates degree required in IT related field, Engineering or Business

  • Bachelors degree preferred in IT related field, Engineering, or Business

Experience

  • 2 years experience in Microsoft Access Database, Microsoft Excel and Programming required

  • 2 years experience SQL programming required

  • 2 years experience working within an enterprise DBMS required

  • Documentum Document Management Systems Administration preferred

  • Smart Plant Administration preferred

  • Information based application support preferred

Required Skills / Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Database configuration and schema

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat

  • Experience producing and handling electronic file formats including creating electronic files from data extraction

  • Reliable performance and attendance

  • Ability to look for ways to do things better, faster and more efficiently

  • Team player, flexible on assisting others to succeed

  • Exceeds expectations of contribution and performance

  • Well-developed interrelationship and communication skills
