Location: Whippany, NJ.

Position: Sales Representative

Pay:$36.20 – 38.62 per hour, depending on experience

Duration: 02/07/2022 to 07/10/2022

Hours:Monday – Friday/Starts at 8:00am

Department/Team Descriptions:

The Multi-Channel Internal Sales (MCIS) team is a multi-specialty team responsible for interacting with healthcare providers remotely to increase brand awareness, drive utilization, and meet objectives by successfully executing strategies identified across all Clients Pharma Franchises (Women’s Healthcare, Specialty, Oncology and Established Brands/Specialty). The Internal Sales team interacts in accordance with Pharma Guidelines for sales professionals, utilizing approved tools and resources for product promotion in order to pull-through various sales strategies while managing multiple support functions and programs.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Educate prescribers on the benefits of using the products and appropriate management and escalation based on the AE profile.

  • Disseminate non personal (iRep email) promotional marketing assets to restricted or difficult to access HCPs and organizations.

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing on resource evaluation and evolution.

  • Profile targets to assess their potential value as a customer by finding out more information about the needs of the practice and the understanding of Aliqopa as 3L treatment in follicular lymphoma.

  • Understand customer needs through appropriate business planning, SWOT analysis and pre-call planning to uncover new opportunities.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers with the objective of driving sales and increasing brand awareness.

  • Manage daily call activity through planning an effective sales targeting approach, meeting all KPIs based on defined expectations.

  • Engage providers using multiple channels and conducting online presentations through Veeva Engage, MS Teams and Zoom with the intent of targeting HCPs, Pharmacists, Nurses or other support staff within assigned accounts to achieve sales goals and meet objectives.

  • Provide additional customer support through occasional field visits, and working closely with field colleagues, Oncology Nurse Educators and medical Science Liaisons (MSL).

  • Determine account specific call planning and targeting based on data analysis; through strategic profiling and managing of target lists.

Additional Requirements, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree Required.

  • Telephony skills required.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and cross-therapeutically with various teams in sales, marketing and medical.

  • Must be extremely organized and have the ability to multi-task and manage a large customer base.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, strong-rapport-building skills, and excellent active listening skills.

  • Competency interpreting sales metrics, strong selling, persuasion and presentation skills, working knowledge of the pharmaceutical/device industry preferred, and/or general knowledge of FDA’s promotional regulations.

Prior Sales Experience – Preferred.

  • Prior Pharmaceutical Sales Experience – Preferred.

  • Remote/Telesales Experience – Preferred.

  • Oncology Experience – Preferred

  • This positions may require some travel, approximately 5-10%
