Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay Rate: Based on experience

DEPARTMENT/TEAM DESCRIPTION

This is a temporary position in the Contract Generation department which is responsible for handling the generation, preparation, revision, and maintenance of all sales contracts across HealthCare’s Pharmaceutical franchises.

POSITION SUMMARY

Looking for a contractor who has strong contract drafting and generation experience to handle sales contracts for the Payer/PBM channels.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

List the primary job duties and responsibilities using headings and then give examples of the types of activities under each heading.

• Handle the generation, drafting, preparation, revision/redlining, and maintenance of sales contracts for the Payer channels.

• Analyze contract terms and conditions and price concessions to determine if such terms align with the customer’s requirements and comply with the contracting and pricing guidelines.

• Obtain and document appropriate cross-functional stakeholder approval for proposed contract non-standard terms and conditions

• Promote contract compliance and transparency by utilizing and maintaining the contracting system, contract compliance procedures, and contracting database for all contract generation and approvals.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Education Requirement(s):

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5+ years of experience OR 8 years with Associates Degree

Skill & Competency Requirements: (list 3 to 5 non-negotiable items such as years of experience, industry of preference, specific knowledge items, professional certifications, skills, abilities, etc.)

• 5+ years’ experience in contract generation or contract specialist field

• Strong experience drafting language and reviewing redlines

. Strong knowledge of the Payer/PBM channels and Market Access

• Experience of the contracting process from generation and all steps through execution and maintenance
