Our client in Webster, NY has an immediate opening for a Project Coordinator for long term contract assignment.

Compensation: $28 per hour

Misc: looking for a candidate who can manage many hardware/kit configurations at the same time. Understanding mechanical design principals is critical for this role

Essential job functions:

  • Ability to work with engineering/design team and quickly understand parts/components required for custom solutions

  • Maintain/organize Bills of Material and drawings for custom solutions

  • Ability to juggle several projects at once is a requirement.

  • Ability to read mechanical drawings

  • Ability to handle detailed parts/drawings and understand product Bills of Material

  • Ability to identify and interact with suppliers

Additional Requirements, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with hardware design practices/ability to read mechanical drawings

  • Skilled multitasker- there will be daily multiple time sensitive issues

  • Experience with HW configuration management practices tools, Part Numbering schemes, order systems

  • Fast paced dynamic environment that requires flexibility

  • Interface with supply chain and finance personnel (controllers, bus ops managers) Meticulous attention to detail

  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office – particularly Microsoft Access and Excel

  • Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly problems, manufacturing techniques, reliability and maintain ability considerations

  • Must be able to see the "big picture" from detailed parts through to how the product/kit fits in the market place

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
