Our client in Webster, NY has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Designer for a long term contract assignment.

Compensation: $28/Hourly

Looking for a candidate with NX experience

Essential job functions:

  • Generate complex detail drawings from engineering supplied information

  • Prepare design layouts of electronic and/or mechanical designs from minimum information

  • Make routine engineering computations, prepare specification and make adjustments in drawings or specs

Additional Requirements, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Computer Aided Design (CAD).

  • Working knowledge of SDRC I-deas

  • Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly problems, manufacturing techniques, reliability and maintain ability considerations

Education:

  • Minimum: Associates

  • Preferred: BS
