CTG is seeking Technical Project Managers to assist our client with a complex Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. This is a long term project in the Washington, DC area - all candidates must be local, as no expenses will be paid.
Supports the EHRM Program and the Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) Information Technology Operations (ITOPS) with technical and project management responsibilities.
Provides risk management, budget support, meeting facilitation, and resource coordination.
Interfaces with business, system owners, development teams, agencies, and joint efforts.
Collaborate with ITOPS engineering subject matter experts (SMEs), specifically as it relates to ITOPS engineering and OEHRM SMEs.
Manage Project Actions (e.g., Cost, Schedule, and Risk).
Support Microsoft (MS) SharePoint and other Knowledge Management tools.
Provide executive-level project status reporting, including MS PowerPoint and dashboarding.
Assist the government Project Manager in management of multiple projects.
Coordinates across organization pillars and work efforts.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline is required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
Experience managing Information Technology related projects.
Well versed in lifecycle and project management methodologies.
Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress.
Able to identify and mitigate risks
Experience in related disciplines including network engineering, systems architecture, information security and disaster recovery
Experience managing IT service and support organizations
Extensive experience with Microsoft (MS) Office products, especially MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
Knowledge and experience in VA systems, including ServiceNow
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience managing a scrum environment
