Job Number: 18201603 CTG is seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer to support the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) pillar of EHRM.

Responsibilities will include:

Assist in creating various information security policy and procedures

Assist with creating, reviewing and managing various A&A artifacts

Assist with analyzing security controls implemented and documented for EHRM information systems

Analyze information system controls implemented to insure they are in place and working as intended

Assist with creating reports and presentations to inform stakeholders of various findings and the state of the EHRM information systems information security program effectiveness

Skills in creating information security policy and procedure documents

Must have knowledge of and experience working with FISMA, FISCAM, FIPS and OMB security requirements, particularly with regards to Assessment and Authorization of federal information systems, both contracted and internal.

Must be able to identify risks and recommend mitigating action

Understanding of wireless security

Experience with VA information security policy and procedure as well as DoD Cerner Millennium and MedCOI implementation highly desired

Device isolation to include medical / health IT (Especially as it relates to VA / DoD) preferred

Familiarity with Palo Alto


10 years Experience

Master's Degree - computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required OR 10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

A Senior Cyber Security Engineer has extensive IT experience in all aspects of Cyber Security with a vast array of IT systems involving end user as well as enterprise level networks.

Experience in designing and implementing systems that meet agency Cyber Security policy and regulations.

Must have extensive experience in Cyber Security Tools, network topologies, intrusion detection, PKI, and secured networks.
