CTG is looking Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program by applying national expertise in interoperability with the ability to quickly develop conceptual models that can support complex processes.
Apply understanding of the nuances of health interoperability but able to see the big picture. Use subject matter expert (SME) expertise to monitor, guide, and ensure the success of VA interoperability planning activities.
Work in a team setting and independently to map the inter-relationships between VA Health IT systems, processes and technologies and design recommendations towards the optimization of the environment
Perform as a technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics and multiple platforms.
Minimum of 5 years of experience. Minimum of 10 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements
National expertise in Health IT interoperability
Experience in a multi-stakeholder environment
Experience designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software for a healthcare/clinical environment
Experience addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics and multiple platforms
Experience performing feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, computer science, electronics engineering, engineering or technical related field
• Experience in DoD/VA health IT
• Experience integrating electronic health records a plus
