Project Duration:Consulting Position, 12 Months

Project Location:Washington DC

Job Title:Data Management and Migration Project Manager

Description:

Coordinate and facilitate data management and migration efforts across multiple organizations. Create reports and brief senior leaders on the status of data management strategy/planning and data migration. Ability to identify technical risk and develop mitigation strategies. Coordinate with staff from multiple organizations to support related tasks and provide information back to appropriate project managers. Lead and facilitate meetings with appropriate task/project members and document after action items and follow up on tasks with due dates.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Minimum of 10 years of experience is required. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements

•Experience managing Information Technology related projects

•Experience with life cycle and project management methodologies

•Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress

•Strong ability to identify and mitigate risks

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline is required
