CTG is currently seeking a Cerner Scheduling Solutions (CSS) Manager to assist our client in Washington DC with an Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. All candidates must be local to the DC, as no travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Utilize expertise in Microsoft Project in schedule development and management.
Lead working sessions to develop a baseline integrated master schedule (IMS) for the full software development life cycle and IT systems implementation.
Support development of program level plans, guidelines, reports.
Provide leadership and support to end users and process stakeholders concerning Schedule Management processes/guidelines and respond to requests as needed from staff and management.
Monitor and report on schedule management performance across program.
Manage priorities and workload for Schedule Team within Program Control Directorate.
Develop and maintain procedures for reporting program status.
Lead and manage schedule-focused meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline is required
Minimum of 10 years of experience is required. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
Experience managing Information Technology related projects
Experience with life cycle and project management methodologies
Ability to track costs, schedule and performance progress
Ability to identify and mitigate risks
Experience in the VA
Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
