CTG is seeking to fill anInformation Technology - Developer Specialty - Software 3openingfor our client.
Duration: 12 months
The role requires an individual who can work collaboratively within an Agile software development environment with multiple platform teams consisting of onsite and remote developers. The developer shall be responsible for the estimation, design, implementation, and unit testing of all assigned tasks within a time-boxed sprint. In addition this role is responsible for conducting and participating in collaborative design and code review, offering and accepting feedback on logic and structural code changes which are either more compliant with internal standards/guidelines or are more robust.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
On-time delivery of quality releases of committed Sprint assignments
Adherence to Development standards and best practices in the design and implementation of software
Development of robust, scalable and extendable Web architecture, including architecture design documentation
Active participant in design and code reviews
Active participant in requirement estimation and task decomposition
Conduct knowledge transfers and test case reviews with QA
Resolution of pre and post production defects within set SLAs
Skills, Abilities and Experience:
Bachelor’s/Masters Degree in a relevant field of study or an equivalent combination of education and software development related experience
A minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on, recent experience developing web applications
Proven team player accustomed to accelerated development cycles with a proven track record of meeting deliverables
Passionate, organized, self-motivated, positive team/solution oriented individual is preferred
Experience developing cross platform backend solutions (preferred)
Experience developing web services - any language (preferred)
Experience designing and building enterprise class software leveraging complex data structures optimized for performance and footprint is (preferred)
Experience in the development of highly scalable, multi-threaded distributed systems (preferred)
Technology, Tooling and Methodology:
Previous experience in an Agile development life cycle
Proficient in Microsoft Studio, Git, JIRA
Fundamental-level proficiency in collaboration applications (i.e.: MS Team, SharePoint)
Must Have Skills:
Looking to have web application/full stack developer, front or end, preference is front end.
Nice to Have:
Previous experience in an Agile development life cycle
RESTful (PHP 7)
Data center management experience
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group is required.
