CTG is seeking to fill a Lead Auditor opening for our client in New York.

Overview:
The Lead Auditor is responsible for leading and executing audits across assigned domains. This role involves overseeing annual risk assessments, continuous auditing, and remediation plan validations. The Lead Auditor will communicate audit progress and findings to Bank Management and supervise Auditors as applicable during assigned audit activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and participate in audits from planning to reporting, ensuring quality deliverables in line with the Division's methodology and professional standards.
Plan and execute assurance activities and advisory services, including continuous auditing, product delivery assessments, validation procedures, investigations, and retrospective reviews, using modernized methodologies and tools.
Write clear and concise audit findings that identify risk and root causes, and communicate these findings to Bank Management promptly.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, business management, and Risk Management while ensuring independence.
Embrace innovative changes and assist the team in adapting to new methodologies.
Effectively integrate data analytics and automation techniques into all audit phases.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge in assigned subject matter disciplines.
Coach, develop, and supervise Auditors and new hires, providing constructive feedback and oversight.
Promote and exemplify a culture of diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging within the team.
Contribute to the achievement of division priorities and objectives.
Scope of Responsibilities:
This position leads assurance activities and advisory services, maintains relationships with Bank Management, and oversees Auditors. All activities must conform to professional auditing standards, and the Lead Auditor reports to an Audit (Senior) Manager.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
Review work and ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing or relevant risk management roles.
Strong understanding of auditing standards and methodologies.
Education and Experience Preferred:
Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are highly desirable.
Experience in IT, Data Management, or Cybersecurity audits.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $45/hour to $65/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
