CTG Infrastructure Analyst II in United States

CTG is seeking to fill an Infrastructure Analyst II opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.

Location: Remote

Duration: 4 months

Overview:

The Infrastructure Analyst II is responsible for the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of system hardware and software, along with related infrastructure. This role ensures that all systems and procedures align with organizational standards, enabling effective support for staff and partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve help desk escalations based on previous incident outcomes.

  • Complete master work orders and request-based tasks effectively.

  • Analyze and isolate technical incidents, providing resolutions based on previous experiences.

  • Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues efficiently.

  • Execute systems maintenance activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), including patching, health checks, and operating system updates.

  • Conduct research on anomalies and report complex issues to senior staff.

  • Participate in project work as a collaborative team member.

  • Mentor less experienced staff on processes and procedures.

  • Fulfill evening responsibilities as scheduled.

  • Identify and document opportunities for procedural improvements to enhance efficiency.

  • Adhere to the company’s risk and regulatory standards, reporting risk-related issues to management as necessary.

  • Foster a diverse and inclusive environment that reflects the company's values.

  • Maintain internal control standards, ensuring timely implementation of audit points and regulatory issues as required.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

This role requires hands-on technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Analysts will be expected to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality customer service.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

None.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 4 years of higher education and/or work experience.

  • Experience in reading and understanding technical information.

  • Detail-oriented with proven written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical issues effectively to management.

  • Strong customer focus with experience managing customer needs and multiple work priorities.

  • Experience providing updates and statuses on technical issues.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of higher education and/or work experience.

  • Relevant certifications or specialized training in related technologies.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $85,000/year. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
