CTG Information Technology (IT) Risk and Compliance Contractor Lead in United States
CTG is seeking to fill an Information Technology (IT) Risk and Compliance Contractor Lead position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: Ongoing Contract
Duties:
Coordinate with stakeholders and workgroups to identify and track interdependencies among EHRM IT products.
Analyze new or changing IT requirements due to Federal laws and regulations impacting the VA EHRM program.
Assess risks of non-compliance with new IT requirements and develop risk mitigation strategies for EHRM IT systems and applications.
Identify IT compliance risks and develop, propose, and implement risk mitigation strategies throughout the system development lifecycle.
Review EHRM-related intra- and inter-agency policies, procedures, and agreements to ensure alignment with new legislation.
Create executive-level presentations and course of action materials, facilitating technical discussions with diverse stakeholder groups.
Support the implementation and management of the EHRM enterprise privacy auditing application and processes for reporting patient data breaches.
Track project deliverables, schedules, artifacts, and metrics, providing updates to leadership.
Offer technical cybersecurity and privacy compliance advisory to mitigate compliance risks from new legislative requirements.
Work independently to resolve technical issues and facilitate actions among mentored personnel.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of IT risk management and compliance frameworks.
Proficient in project management methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication skills for technical discussions and presentations.
Familiarity with electronic health records systems and privacy regulations.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in IT risk and compliance.
Demonstrated experience in planning, designing, and deploying complex information architectures.
Proven ability to ensure compliance with open systems architecture standards and legacy IT environments.
Experience in business case analysis and alternative solution identification.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required. An additional 8 years of experience may substitute for degree requirements.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70.00/hr to $80.00/hr. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
