Title: Epic HB/PB Subject Matter Expert

CTG is seeking a Hospital Billing and Professional Billing Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist our client with managing a transition to a new tax identification number in an Epic environment.

The selected consultant will provide guidance and subject matter expertise on Epic revenue cycle and billing functionality related to migration to a new tax id#. Expert knowledge of functional and operational impacts of a tax id# update within Epic is required.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Review and validate project plans and provide recommendations for improvement

  • Share best practices and lessons learned from prior transitions

  • Consider and advise on operational implications

Requirements:

  • Must have expert-level familiarity within Epic Professional Billing and Hospital Billing modules; current certifications preferred

  • Prior Tax ID transition experience within a health care setting required

  • Familiarity with 340B benefits is a plus

  • Must be able to speak to operational impacts of decisions made in respect to areas such as finance and the billing office above and beyond the mechanical aspects of an Epic configuration

  • Must have excellent communication skills
