CTG, Inc. is seeking a Document Control Administrator for an eleven-month contract with our client located in Tewksberry, MA! This contract could be extended or made permanent.

Job Description: Document Control Administrator

Job Duties: Responsible for the preparation, organization and execution of export documentation required for shipments originating in the US to destinations globally, which include Letter of Credit shipments, commercial invoices, shippers letter of instruction, EEI (SED), etc. Ensure that all export documentation meets U.S. Federal Trade regulations through use of government issued manuals and licensed internet site. Arrange details of shipments with forwarders and internal logistics as necessary for exports.Responsible for AES filing and/or auditing of EEI’s filed by Freight Forwarder.Responsible for supplying the customer with shipping Pre-Alerts. Assist in documenting procedures and work instructions and adhering to said procedures as written. When needed, assist in expediting shipments.Adhere to all ISO Procedures and Work Instructions.

Job Knowledge: Must be knowledgeable of U.S. Federal Trade Regulations and Export Compliance regulations. Individual must be detail oriented, possess strong organizational skills, be an excellent communicator, self-motivated and work effectively in a multi-task environment. Must be skilled in the use of computers; team player a must.

Experience: Working knowledge of with MS Office, particularly Word and Excel a must.Manufacturing background and use of ERP or distribution software a plus.Strong verbal, written communication skills.Excellent computer skills.Excellent typing skills. Two to three years customer service and export experience preferred. Knowledge of U.S. Federal Trade Regulation requirements preferred. AESdirect experience preferred.
