Job Title: Technical Writer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 6 months, W2 Contract
Research, write, and format user manuals and online Help for a variety of products
Acquire information from specifications documents and subject matter experts (SMEs)
Manage documentation review cycles
Ensure that documentation meets editorial specifications
Minimum Qualifications (MUST have to be considered)
Minimum of 6 years of current technical writing experience
Ability to communicate complex information clearly, accurately, and concisely
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Proficiency with Adobe FrameMaker, RoboHelp, and Acrobat
Desired Skills (nice to have)
- Working knowledge of a graphics program (e.g., CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator) and digital photography a plus
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in English, technical communication, journalism, or science
