CTG Project Coordinator - Nuclear Projects in Richland, Washington
CTG is seeking to fill a Project Coordinator - Nuclear Projects job for our client in Richland, WA.
Location: Richland, WA
Duration: 5 months
Duties:
Coordinate project teams of one to five individuals, including planning, scheduling, and overseeing project activities.
Serve as a specialist for specific projects, maintaining detailed knowledge of all aspects of the projects.
Continuously monitor projects and recommend changes to improve operating efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop and manage budgets, tracking cost versus budget for assigned projects.
Ensure the successful implementation of projects related to refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line maintenance, focusing on safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.
Oversee the preparation of work packages, parts procurement, ALARA planning, and compliance with industrial and nuclear safety standards.
Resolve schedule delays and conflicts, ensuring efficient resource loading and work execution.
Develop and maintain long-range plan strategies for assigned projects.
Support the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program.
Provide oversight and support during outages, including Outage Coordination Center (OCC).
Develop and manage contracts and interface with vendors.
Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to senior management and other key stakeholders.
Skills:
Strong project management skills, with a focus on planning, scheduling, and project oversight.
Proficiency with basic project management techniques, human performance core values, and cost-effective work execution strategies.
Basic knowledge of computer software tools (MS Office Suite).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in a technical field, with a strong background in project management or related areas.
Proven experience in managing small projects related to refueling outages, forced outages, or on-line maintenance is preferred.
Experience in budgeting, cost tracking, and vendor management.
Familiarity with nuclear safety and industrial safety standards is a plus.
Education:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field from an accredited college or university, AND at least 1 year of experience in a technical field;
OR Associates degree in a related technical field, AND at least 3 years of experience in a technical field;
OR High School Diploma/GED, AND 5 years of experience in a technical field.
Desired:
Project Management Certification (PMP or similar),
Construction Management Certification.
Required Abilities and Skills:
Basic understanding of project management techniques and human performance principles.
Ability to use MS Office Suite effectively.
Desired Abilities and Skills:
Familiarity with error reduction, human performance improvement methods, and project execution methodologies.
Experience with outage management, refueling, forced outage, on-line maintenance activities, and engineering standards.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $35.00 to $45.00 hourly. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
