CTG is seeking a an experienced DevOps Software Engineer who will help our global client change the game by becoming an integral part of the Self-checkout software team as they transition from using traditional software deployment methodology to using DevOps best practices and principles to move more toward CI/CD for major global retailers.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering

  • Experience applying CI/CD in a Linux or Microsoft Stack

  • Expertise in code deployment and configuration management tools (Ansible is preferred.)

  • Expertise with software-automation production systems and CI/CD tools (Jenkins is preferred.)

  • Experience using an object-oriented programming language

  • Proficient with scripting languages like Python

  • Automated testing experience

Preferred Skills

  • PostgreSQL experience

  • Hypervisor technologies (vmware, virtualbox)

  • Familiarity with microservices

  • Retail experience

  • Other: Make, Git, Ant
