Job Title:Printer Maintenance/Customer Support Associate

Duration:Ongoing

Location:Reno, NV

10 paid holidays per calendar year

10 day vacation pay out at the end of you anniversary year

This position will require some driving between client locations using your own personal vehicle. Mileage is reimbursed.

MVR check required, no more than one moving violation in the past three years, Current/Valid license.

Essential job functions:

This position will be mostly performing break/fix on Printer and MFD’s. Also, Basic device cleaning and replacement of operator accessible parts and consumables per equipment specifications. The other 30% of the position, you may be asked to fill in at the Print Production area or Mailroom

  • Provide IP address support

  • Perform basic equipment problem diagnosis

  • Client web-based applications as required to include Service Call Handling

  • Accurate call reporting on Equipment in Client designated systems

  • Download and install printer drivers on end-user equipment

  • Perform printer mapping to PC as required

  • Escalate printer network issues to appropriate resource

  • Physical as well as remote device management and control

  • Device Configuration (Enter IP address, scanning templates, User access levels. Scan to File/Email, etc)

  • Monitor/apply current software updates/patches On site contact for remote solve resolutions requiring technical expertise

  • Perform remote device monitoring and remote solve

  • Provide on-going end user training on equipment

  • Pro-actively manage consumables and supplies using the DOS calculator

  • Maintain on-site operator replaceable parts inventory

  • Collect equipment meter information and submit for billing purposes

  • Perform Data Entry for activity and asset tracking

  • Manage and maintain on-site parts inventory using PM4

Skills

  • Lift and move up to 50 pounds

  • Customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Perform duties with minimal supervision

  • Basic Equipment problem solving and diagnosis per training provided

  • Customer problem resolution including escalation as required

  • 2-3 years relevant experience resolving customer and equipment printing issues

  • Ability to demonstrate problem resolution skills and escalation process

  • Able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications

  • Able to demonstrate use of Computer: Email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint -- Manage email (create folders, change user options) -- Download and install files (fonts, drivers, etc.) from internet sites; open, complete and save/print internet forms -- Perform mail merges

  • Able to demonstrate intermediate knowledge of MS Word or equivalent -- Insert images -- Create and manage tables and columns -- Edit headers/footers -- Create forms -- Create and manage multiple sections

  • Able to demonstrate intermediate knowledge of MS Excel or equivalent -- Navigate multiple worksheets within a workbook -- Create charts/graphs -- Use basic math functions -- Create basic formulae

  • Able to demonstrate working knowledge of MS PowerPoint or equivalent -- Open and create basic presentations -- Open saved presentations -- Print using different options

  • Able to demonstrate basic knowledge of network (e.g., how to add or delete a network printer)

  • Able to demonstrate ability to recognize PC to printer connectivity

EDUCATION: Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
