CTG Senior IT Analyst/Programmer in Remote, United States
CTG is seeking to fill a Senior IT Analyst/Programmer opening for our client in Rochester, MN.
Location: Remote
Duration: 5 months
Duties:
Design, develop, implement, and maintain custom system software and purchased systems software.
Configure and support hardware systems across the company.
Collaborate with senior technical staff to develop proposals that consider alternatives and gain institutional approvals.
Evaluate alternative approaches and present recommendations to teams and unit leadership.
Regularly review applications, making modifications and updates to ensure functionality within the established environment.
Maintain and support multiple systems or complex software applications across sites.
Produce and maintain documentation, including system requirements, designs, resource inventories, and project plans.
Provide technical and project leadership, demonstrating initiative and working independently as required.
Gain consensus among stakeholders across departmental organizations.
Interface with vendor support services or external support teams during outages or periods of degraded system performance.
Act as a liaison between departments and vendors to adequately support the division's computing systems.
Collaborate virtually with colleagues located at various practices.
May be required to provide 24/7 on-call support.
Skills:
Required:
Previous experience with Epic Workflow build, including Activities, FDI Records, and Navigators.
Experience with Epic Order Entry and related build (e.g., Preference Lists) in both Ambulatory and Inpatient contexts.
Must hold a current Epic certification.
Must have vendor customer-facing experience. Candidates with only internal hospital experience will only be evaluated if no other suitable candidates are available.
Preferred:
- Multi-EHR build experience.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience, including 1 year of demonstrated technical experience; or Associate's degree and 7 years' experience, including 1 year of demonstrated technical experience.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a relevant field.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $55.00/hour to $63.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
