CTG Process Improvement Manager I in Remote, United States

CTG is seeking to fill a Process Improvement Manager I opening for our client in New York.

Location: Remote

Duration: 2 months

Overview:

The candidate should have experience working in commercial banking (equipment finance is ideal) . Must have experience creating Level 3: Task level process maps and risk control identification . The candidate will work remotely with various business owners to facilitate and document workflows and processes; creating process maps where none may exist.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct the development of continuous improvement initiatives of moderate complexity, fostering collaboration and buy-in as the lead transformation partner.

  • Lead process improvement projects by measuring, analyzing, and discussing process alternatives to identify viable solutions and best practices.

  • Prepare recommendations for senior management to prioritize and execute process re-engineering efforts.

  • Develop project plans and execution frameworks for assigned activities.

  • Identify and document opportunities for process automation, including robotics, and develop corresponding business cases.

  • Regularly communicate project status, issues, and risks to project sponsors.

  • Establish sustainable measurement systems for key deliverables for each project.

  • Develop business cases and monitor actual results against projected benefits.

  • Coordinate teams of up to 20 individuals across multiple functions and organizational levels.

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to Process Analysts or Six Sigma Green Belts as needed.

  • Support larger strategic project/process initiatives under the guidance of senior management.

  • Drive implementation of solutions within the business where applicable.

  • Measure, track, and report ongoing benefits up to one year post-project completion.

  • Adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls; escalate risk-related issues to management.

  • Promote a diverse environment that reflects the M&T Bank brand.

  • Maintain internal control standards, ensuring timely implementation of audit points and addressing issues raised by regulators.

  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in process improvement or project management, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.

  • Proven experience with Six Sigma and LEAN methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $35/hour to $55/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
