CTG Microsoft Security Expert in Remote, United States
CTG is seeking to fill a Microsoft Security Expert job for our client in Illinois.
Location: Remote
Duration: 4 months
Duties:
Work within an existing large managed security environment to enhance Microsoft security capabilities in the cloud.
Implement and manage Microsoft security solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices.
Conduct in-person workshops and whiteboard sessions with both executive and technical stakeholders to facilitate understanding and collaboration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and improve current security measures.
Provide expert guidance on Microsoft security tools and technologies, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft security tools including EntraID/AD, Microsoft Two-Factor Authentication, FMA, Defender, Purview, and Azure Security.
Strong understanding of Conditional Access Policies.
Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Microsoft Defender for Identity, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel configuration and tuning is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Intune is desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Experience:
Relevant client-facing experience in implementing Microsoft security solutions.
Proven track record of conducting workshops and engaging with stakeholders effectively.
Education:
- Preferred certifications: AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-304.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $55/hour to $63/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
