CTG Medical Business Analyst in Remote, United States

CTG is seeking to fill a Medical Business Analyst opening in Albany, New York.

Location : Albany, NY

Duration : 12 months

Our client is looking for someone with extensive experience working with RWE data and Medical data such as EMR,EHR, etc.

Experience Required: 7-10 years in project management or business analysis within the Life Sciences industry.

Candidates based in the EST time zone (preferably from the US or Canada) are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management efforts in a multi-stakeholder/vendor environment, knowledge of JIRA required.

  • Create patient journey and deliver patient analytics projects using claims, EMR, HER datasets.

  • Collaborate with project managers to understand and prioritize analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, delivering actionable insights to decision-makers.

  • Evaluate existing business processes to pinpoint areas for improvement.

  • Manage requirements gathering and oversee data integration projects, including ETL workflows and BI dashboard implementations, preferably using MicroStrategy.

  • Oversee System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), focusing on data quality and executing comprehensive test scripts.

  • Utilize Snowflake and basic SQL skills to run queries and extract datasets for validation and support UAT processes.

  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to navigate life sciences regulations related to privacy and PII.

  • Maintain strong project documentation skills, including writing articles, building data dictionaries, and creating training content.

  • Exhibit excellent business communication skills, adept at managing change and presenting to leadership.

This role demands a proactive individual who can effectively manage multiple priorities and drive projects to successful completion.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group is required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60.00/hour to $70.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
