CTG Data Scientist in Remote, United States
CTG is hiring a remote Data Scientist for our HIE client to support an AI initiative.
Location: Remote
Duration: 3 months
Duties:
Data Integration: Lead the integration of HIE data to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with healthcare standards.
AI Model Development: Collaborate with our team to develop, train, and validate AI models that generate actionable insights from integrated healthcare data.
Interoperability: Work with industry-standard protocols and formats (e.g., FHIR, HL7) to ensure seamless data exchange between our platform and other healthcare systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members to align data strategies with business goals and customer needs.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data integration processes, AI models, and compliance protocols.
Skills & Experience:
Experience: 3+ years of experience working with healthcare data, particularly HIE data.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in data integration, data preprocessing, and feature engineering.
Must have previous experience supporting AI tools.
Knowledge of Standards: Strong understanding of healthcare data standards and protocols, including FHIR & HL7.
Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets to derive meaningful insights.
Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Education:
- Technical diploma
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65.00/hr to $80.00/hr. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
