CTG Data Engineer in Remote, United States

CTG is seeking to fill a Data Engineer. This is an internal role for our Solutions team with multiple end clients.

Location: Remote

Duration: consulting position, 3 years

Experience in the healthcare and oil/gas or energy industries required.

US Citizens or GC only.

No sponsorship and No C2C please.

Duties:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

  • Implement data storage solutions using Azure and AWS services.

  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.

  • Optimize data workflows for performance and cost-efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for data engineering processes and solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud technologies.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.

  • Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse, or similar.

  • Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Azure and AWS .

  • Experience in the healthcare or oil and gas industries is highly desirable.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $140,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
