CTG is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer / Data Analyst for a 12 month contract for a client in Raleigh, NC. This is an exciting opportunity that offers a competitive salary with great benefits options including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, and much more!
In this role, you will work collaboratively with business users to perform data analysis to provide answers and insight to complex operational challenges. You will be providing analytical support to review data on enrollments and medical and prescription drug claims. This analysis is used to monitor contract compliance of third party vendors, assist in the development of schedules of benefits and formularies, and to develop the strategic direction for the overall plan design.
Work independently to gather requirements from end users with various technical and business backgrounds
Translate business requirements into analytic methods
Identify data needs and delivery mechanisms
Building analytical models to perform analysis for a wide range of requests to solve business problems
Performing data discovery and data mining
Analyzing large datasets including eligibility, medical and pharmacy claims, provider, and financial data
Developing BI content (reports, dashboards, scorecards, analytical solutions)
Presenting analytically complex results to end users in a manner that they can easily understand and act upon
5 years experience using SAS Enterprise Guide
5 years experience with SAS Visual Analytics, developing reports and dashboards
5 years experience in Healthcare Insurance
Strong communication skills
