CTG IT Technician - Level 2 in Quebec City, Canada
CTG has an long term Consultant opening for a Sr. Level 2 IT Technician. This is an onsite job working on location in Quebec City on the Île d'Orléans bridge project.
This client requires proper work authorization as they support government projects.
This is an hourly job is working 37.5 hours per week
Job summary
The IT Technician N2 is responsible for configuring, installing and deploying computer networks, including small routers and switches. This position requires resourcefulness, the ability to work independently, and the willingness to travel within a 200 km radius.
Main responsibilities
Configure and install routers and switches as part of network deployment projects.
Diagnose and solve technical problems on network infrastructures.
Provide on-site or remote technical support.
Participate in the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructures on worksites.
Document configurations, interventions and procedures for site files.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Job requirements
Education: DEP or DEC in computer science (or equivalent).
Experience: Minimum 4 years in network deployment and support.
Technical skills: Solid foundation in router and switch configuration.
Languages: Bilingualism (French and English) is an important asset.
Mobility: Valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
Availability: Possible travel within a 200 km radius.
Personal skills: Resourcefulness, autonomy, ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
This position is for a motivated technician capable of meeting technical challenges while maintaining excellent customer service.
