CTG IT Technician - Level 2-3 in Quebec City, Canada

CTG has an long term Consultant opening for a Sr. Level 2-3 IT Technician. This is an onsite job working on location in Quebec City on the Île d'Orléans bridge project.

This client requires proper work authorization as they support government projects.

This is an hourly job is working 37.5 hours per week

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reporting to the Assistant Director of IT Project Services, the Senior IT Technician will have the following responsibilities:

  • Provide technological support to users working on the Île d'Orléans bridge project, in person, during the first months, in collaboration with our partner Genatec;

  • Independently diagnose, analyze, document, investigate and/or resolve problems;

  • Ensure the proper functioning of the positions of people dedicated to the PIO project (a fleet of around 300 positions locally);

  • Installation of different software according to the requirements of the project and the partner;

  • Provide support for the Office 365 environment and offer technological support to promote optimal use;

  • Provide support for Surface Hub Teams type videoconferencing rooms with the partner.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold a DEC in computer science or relevant experience;

  • Have 5 years of experience in similar functions;

  • Knowledge of Apple, MDM & DEP products:

  • Good knowledge of English (oral and written);

  • Experience in the Office 365 environment;

  • Knowledge of the Intune environment for preparing desktop images and deployment packages;

  • ITSM knowledge and ITIL certification (an asset).
