CTG is seeking an IT Support Technician to fill a long-term role for our client in Poughkeepsie, NY.
The Manufacturing IT Architecture & Support Team continuously strives to enhance our end-to-end production environment. Seek out opportunities to create efficiencies within our production processes that reduce cycle time, increase reliability as well as implement new and innovative support strategies. Demonstrate leadership by evaluating and integrating new technologies. Timely service and support for the portfolio of products such as the System Z and P Servers, Cognitive Solutions, Customized Solutions Center (CSC), Global Loaner & Trial (GLT) program, PMC Crib. Consultation & Support of GEODIS shipping & receiving operations.
• Project Planning & Generate Proposals.
• Communications Skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multitask with Cross-Functional Teams.
• Provision Educational Training procedures & Instructional Video Tutorials.
• Maintain a satisfactory SSCA & MSAC Compliance Posture across all supported devices.
• Track end-to-end IT Inventory.
• Operating System proficiency (Windows, Linux, MacOS).
• Networking Topology & Protocols (TCP/IP).
• Processor Hardware Diagnostics.
• Printer Diagnostics for Laser and Label printers.
• Network Printing (Multi-platform).
• Mfg Applications: SAP, MFS, PComm, MS Office.
