Job Number: 18213013 Computer Task Group is seeking a Hardware Test Technician to work a long-term contract in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Hardware Engineer– IBM Z Engineering System Test

We have a variety of positions across several squads (processor and I/O functionality and recovery, networking, mixplex, hardware management console, etc.), each responsible for a specific area of hardware/firmware functionality and reliability. Typical activities might include hardware system configuration, configuring network adapters and assorted switches, network administration, executing test cases, error injects, troubleshooting and documenting problems, and verifying development solutions.

z/OS, VM, and Linux skills and system-level problem determination highly recommended.
