CTG Release Engineer-DevOps in Phoenix, Arizona
CTG is seeking to fill a Release Engineer DevOps opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ.
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 10 months
Duties:
Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related tools.
Manage release processes, including version control, branching, and merging.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of applications and infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the release pipelines.
Automate infrastructure and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Ensure best practices for release management are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
Document and communicate release processes, issues, and solutions effectively to stakeholders.
Skills:
Expertise in GitHub, including branching, merging, tagging, and repository management.
Proficiency in creating and managing GitHub Actions workflows for CI/CD pipelines.
Solid understanding of release management processes and best practices.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, Bash) for automation.
Strong problem-solving skills to debug and resolve pipeline and release issues.
Excellent communication skills for team coordination and documentation.
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
