CTG Release Engineer-DevOps in Phoenix, Arizona

CTG is seeking to fill a Release Engineer DevOps opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ.

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 10 months

Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related tools.

  • Manage release processes, including version control, branching, and merging.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of applications and infrastructure.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the release pipelines.

  • Automate infrastructure and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

  • Ensure best practices for release management are followed throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Document and communicate release processes, issues, and solutions effectively to stakeholders.

Skills:

  • Expertise in GitHub, including branching, merging, tagging, and repository management.

  • Proficiency in creating and managing GitHub Actions workflows for CI/CD pipelines.

  • Solid understanding of release management processes and best practices.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, Bash) for automation.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to debug and resolve pipeline and release issues.

  • Excellent communication skills for team coordination and documentation.

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
