CTG Java and Cloud Developer – Data and Web Technologies in Phoenix, Arizona
CTG is seeking to fill an Java and Cloud Developer – Data and Web Technologies opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ.
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 10 months
Duties:
Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on web technologies.
Work with large data volumes and manage data pipelines using tools such as BigQuery, Composer, DataProc, and DataFlow.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, data processing, and integration.
Ensure code quality and best practices in development.
Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members to improve the development process.
Document software designs, code, and configurations.
Skills:
Strong experience with BigQuery and handling large data volumes.
Expertise in cloud platforms and technologies, particularly Composer, DataProc, and DataFlow.
Proficiency in Java and web-based technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.).
Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
Strong understanding of data processing, ETL processes, and data architecture.
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in Java development and web technologies.
Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Composer, DataProc, or DataFlow.
Proven track record of working with large datasets and complex data pipelines.
Experience in developing and deploying scalable, high-performance applications.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
