CTG Analytical Laboratory Technician in Pennsylvania

Title: Analytical Laboratory Technician

Direct Placement:

This position will be responsible for the analysis of metals and aggregate produced at a metal's and ash processing facilities in Fairless Hills, PA.


  • Laboratory testing including sample preparation, analysis and reporting

  • Perform ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry) analysis on non-ferrous metals from Covanta’s Non-ferrous Facility.

  • Perform yield testing on inbound metal materials to Covanta’s Ferrous and Non-ferrous Facility.

  • Perform ASTM and AASHTO tests on aggregate produced at Covanta’s Total Ash Processing System.

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.

B.S. in science, math, or engineering

  • Experience in preparation and analysis of metal samples using digestion and ICP-OES system preferred

  • Aggregate testing experience and/or certifications preferred

  • Will train onsite as needed

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Organized and deadline oriented

  • Works efficiently both independently, and in a team environment

NJSAT level 1 and 2
