CTG is hiring in Palmdale! We need an Electrical Engineer to work a 6-month assignment.
Description: Designs and tests Electrical system, components, equipment, and networks for air vehicle. The applicant must have extensive experience in Wiring Harness Design, Build, and Test and considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of Harness Design and Build. Able to evaluate COTS electrical wiring and harness assembly diagram for build and integration.
Creating wiring diagrams and harness assembly diagrams;
Resolving wiring/integration related issues between the various avionics/electrical systems;
Validating/interpreting/troubleshooting/resolving any wiring related issues;
Performing technical checks to ensure wiring document correctness. Candidate will be part of a team effort to develop wiring from design to installation, to include interfacing between Electrical Wiring Design and Production/Manufacturing. This is to ensure wiring requirements flow from design to installation and are processed in accordance with LM Aero specifications.
Ability to make real-time design modifications to resolve issues, and update design documents to reflect changes;
Ability to work in a Shop (Prototype) environment involving interaction with technicians;
Extensive experience with connector selection, relay logic, part selection, wire sizing, and harness design process;
Experience with Design, Implementation and Test experience with aircraft harnesses required.
