CTG's premier client has a contract assignment for a Payroll Coordinator II .

Job Title: Payroll Coordinator II
Location: Painted Post, NY
Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Painted Post, NY
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Education: 4-year degree preferred

Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential data appropriately
Strong organizational skills
Process-oriented mindset with a focus on improvement
Proficient PC skills
Description:
As a Payroll Coordinator II, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing payroll-related tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
Responding to payroll inquiries via mail, email, and phone
Supporting both internal and external customer service needs
Reviewing weekly time and attendance records for accuracy
Entering timecard adjustments and corrections
Facilitating the garnishment process with vendors
Uploading and entering payroll data for processing
Reviewing payroll data to ensure accuracy
Maintaining documentation of relevant payroll processes
Requirements:
Education:
4-year degree preferred
Payroll experience is a plus, although this role is more focused on customer service and data entry
Qualifications:
Proven customer service experience, particularly in payroll or HR-related tasks
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to handle sensitive payroll data with confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with payroll systems and software is a plus
