CTG is seeking an Epic Certified Beaker Project Manager/Team Lead to assist our client with a new Epic Implementation. Position is primarily remote but may require occasional travel to client site in the Tennessee area.

Job Summary: Exhibits the highest degree of expertise in one or more specialized areas supporting Epic EHR. Able to function independently within technical and organizational area (s) of specialization. May assume group and/or large project management as assigned. Provides support and guidance to all levels of functional management throughout organization, acting in the capacity of functional, business or information consultant. Solves complex technical or organizational problems utilizing knowledge in area (s) of specialization. Instructs and mentors others in the organization within area (s) of specialization. Expected to focus 80% or more time engaged in supporting Epic design, build, testing and support. Reports to Manager or Director level in Information Services

Responsibilities include the project management and team lead of the implementation of the Epic Beaker product in both the clinical and anatomic areas. Additionally, the manager will be leading the implementation and integration of the SafeTrace Blood Bank application.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Healthcare or equivalent experience required

  • Current Epic Beaker Certification (AP and/or CP) required

  • 3 years of Epic build, implementation, and support required

  • Large-scale Epic implementation/upgrades experience preferred

  • Previous Project Management/Team Lead experience preferred

  • SafeTrace Blood Back experience is a plus

  • Clinical background is a plus

  • Integrated Systems Architecture Planning, Development and Implementation with Technical Collaboration (e.g. Interfaces, Hardware and Reporting) is a plus

  • Team Leadership, Coaching, and Mentoring

  • Medical Technology background a strong recommendation

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
