Lab Technician 3

CTG's premier client, a Fortune 500 global supplier of paints, coatings, specialty materials, has an immediate Contract opening for a Lab technician for a 1 year assignment in Oak Creek, WI.

Position Title: Lab Technician 3

Duration: 1 year contract with possibility to be extended

Location: Onsite in Oak Creek, WI

Shift: Either 7-4am to 8-5pm

Rate: $15

Requirements: Hair follicle drug testing and other employment related inquiries may be conducted.

Job Responsibilities:

The person will be revising specifications and panel preps in Tandem. These will be done using a template(s) established by the chemists. Each formula will take 1-2 hours to complete, most likely. Chemist will review all changes for correctness before formulas are filed.

  • Conducts chemical and physical laboratory tests of solid materials, liquids, and gases, and analyzes test data for variety of purposes, such as research, product development, quality control, criminal investigation, and establishing standards, involving experimental, theoretical, or practical application of chemistry and related sciences

  • Sets up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for tests, research, or process control

  • Tests and analyzes products to determine strength, stability, purity, chemical content, and other characteristics


  • Computer skills is a necessity

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to understand complex terms

  • Good communication skills
