CTG has an immediate need to hire a IBM DOORS - Requirements Management QA Analyst to work with our federal client onsite in Norfolk, VA.

Active DoD Secret clearance required.

Title: IBM DOORS - Requirements Management QA Analyst

Location: Norfolk, VA 23551

Duration: 6 months (could extent until June 2020)

Tax Terms: W-2 (no 1099 or C2C)

Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required


  • As a member of a Requirements Management Team, validate that capability requirements align with user needs across all aspects of DOTMLPFI for all assigned Operational Requirements, Capability Targets, and other high-level requirements.

  • Provides technical guidance to Requirements Management Teams and Capability Programme Directors related to maintaining quality of requirements.

  • Monitors requirements developed in all life cycle stages to ensure integrity and traceability and to ensure they remain valid, applicable, and continue to satisfy operational user needs.

  • Supports identification of options in for resolving requirements management issues.

  • Maintains configuration control of the requirements traceability matrices throughout the capability life cycle.

  • Ensure Federated and Enterprise working to facilitate cross-functional, collaborative and supported interdependent teams/individuals in other divisions and other directorates across ACT as appropriate.

  • Is the principal project manager for project management support to the other two positions on this statement of work.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience – Requirements QA Analyst


  • University degree in a related discipline.


  • 8 years of experience in application of requirements management to acquisition processes

  • Experience with use of a requirements management tool

  • Experience in requirements development, either as a hands-on writer or facilitator of requirements development sessions

  • Experience in requirements management

  • Experience in establishing and managing traceability and quality of requirements

  • Experience with writing white papers, point papers, and briefings for senior leaders

  • Excellent communications skills both orally and in writing

  • Project planning and management experience or skills

  • Demonstrate awareness of configuration control methods and practices


  • Demonstrated proficiency in English as defined in STANAG 6001 (3333) or demonstrated native English speaker background

  • Demonstrated minimum NATO or National SECRET clearance with the appropriate national authority for the duration of the contract

  • Demonstrated working level knowledge with MS Office tools (Outlook, Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, SharePoint)

  • Demonstrated availability to travel to any NATO entity within the 29 Nations (valid passport with no travel restrictions to NATO nations)


  • Experience working at a joint command, program executive office, or major program office

  • Experience with use of the IBM DOORS software

  • Knowledge about project management in complex systems or projects in a military Communication and Information Systems environment

  • Experience in effective orally and in writing communication, including briefing and in coordination with international stakeholders
