Essential job functions:

  • Provide thought-leadership to client across business and technical project dimensions solving

  • complex business requirements.

  • Develops and demonstrates an advanced knowledge of Systems Architecture in relation to HR/Payroll applications along with their design and implementation features.

  • Works in conjunction with Program/Project Managers to size, manage scope and risks of new Projects and Production maintenance requests.

  • Accountable for ensuring the business and technical architecture of the delivered solutionmatches customer technical and functional requirements, and commits to Customer Success.

  • Drives design and development for major components of focused solutions.

  • Ensures delivered work meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements as well as best practices as defined by the team/organization/industry.

  • Ability to Translate business requirements into design/application builds.

  • Contributes to best practice definitions.

  • Critically reviews work of other team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in architecture and design of complex applications experience in Enterprise Applications.

  • Expensive IT experience with n-tier, database and client server design/development.

  • Experience with integration technologies and good understanding of Relational Database Management Systems including architecting and designing for performance and scalability and working with Object to Relational Mapping schemes for distributed data access.

  • Excellent skills in any of the RDBMS tools like Oracle, MSSQL and DB2. Should be proficient in PL/SQL and SQL.

  • Solid fundamentals in Enterprise Java & Object Oriented concepts like JMS, J2EE and EJBs.

  • Experience in client side technologies like HTML, Java Script.

  • Strong object oriented design and implementation experience.

  • Strong experience scoping, planning and delivering projects using iterative software development lifecycles over multiple release cycles.

  • Experience in Web technologies including Servlets, JSP, and XML. Should have hands on experience in developing web applications.

  • Have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal, communication skills.

  • Excellent understanding of and experience with a systems development lifecycle methodology.

  • Strong business acumen, professional style/presence.

  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.
