Job Description:

One of the largest PC companies in world with products including industry-leading ThinkPad & IdeaPad notebook computers, ThinkCentre & IdeaCentre desktop computers and various smart devices including AR/MR/VR. Our Morrisville, NC Headquarters is the base for our Worldwide Quality organization, responsible for finding, fixing, and preventing defects in our systems. The Customer Experience Sampling team identifies customer issues on unannounced and new products and works with a global set of teams to address them.

Position Description:

This position offers a broad range of lab-based experience inside Quality Engineering. This is a hands-on position which will expand your understanding of PC hardware, subsystems, and the Windows OS & drivers, in addition to the workings of a global team within one of the world's leading technology firms.

Specific tasks will include:

  • Identify potential customer experience issues or defects

  • Work with engineers on problem reproduction and debug

  • Customer and market research


  • Sophomore level or higher pursuing a BA or BS degree required

  • Interest in new, emerging technologies

  • Hobbyist or professional experience with PC assembly/repair preferred

  • Self-motivated

  • Good organizational skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel
