Interfacing with a cross functional teams to understand their software requirements
Leading software sourcing activities to choose new / best supplier including developing RFQs, RFQ evaluation criteria, and managing overall RFQ process
Driving software contract negotiations and deal closure including obtaining final approvals from all appropriate functional stakeholders
Developing and maintaining all required documentation for the contract file including source justification, any RFQ documentation, and approval records
Managing the on-going relationship with a portfolio of software suppliers including issue resolution and periodic supplier performance reviews
Reporting regular status at cross functional status meetings and reporting status to management and senior management (as required)Required Technical/Functional Skills:
Minimum 5 years of directly related experience that includes the following skills: - Software contract management.
Software supplier relationship management.
- Software operations management including royalty reporting to suppliers.
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred Technical/Functional Skills:
Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills to resolve issues.
Ability to team with others and work with guidance from an experienced
Procurement Professional in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment.
