CTG is hiring! We are seeking an Event Program Manager for our client in Morrisville, NC. In this role, you will plan and organize small/medium-size events and/or meetings for corporate clients. The Event Program Manager will be responsible for event operations including pre-event planning, implementation and post-event activities.This role will primarily be office-based at the client site with very little travel. If you enjoy supporting all varieties of regional client events such as trade shows, road shows, briefings, and conferences, then this role may be for you! This is a full-time contract opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project plan and timelines and communicate to all internal parties

  • Manage detailed budgets- be able to successfully organize and maintain a large budget that includes numerous small/medium-size events. Will work closely with the ESG Accounting team to maintain client payment schedule.

  • Coordinate trade show logistics – vendor and venue coordination for all related show services: product and display shipping, pull and prep, product rental, product purchases, display design, engineering and production, promotional materials, furnishings, electricity, internet, carpet, labor, receptions, registration sites, food & beverage, signage, assorted invoice payments as requested

  • Manage briefing/conference event logistics- attendee registration, housing, food & beverage, and communication

  • Design services- coordinate with ESG Design to create display materials, registration sites, print materials, product ID slides, promotional materials, etc.

  • Client partner reimbursement invoicing

Provide expert consultation and assistance as well as creative solutions to clients

  • Travel – none expected, but possible up to 10%.

Successful Candidate Qualities:

  • Knowledge and experience in event logistics

  • Experience in Cvent or similar registration platform

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong abilities to organize and multi-task

  • Sense of humor and upbeat, positive demeanor

  • Highly flexible - able to change course mid-stream with a high level of professionalism

  • Fantastic customer service ethic and high expectations for quality

  • Must like working in a team environment while being self-motivated and also able to work independently

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 2-4 years of corporate event experience
