Job Title:Senior Learning and Training Consultant

Scope of Position:

Provide expert consultancy on learning theory and methodology to Medical Affairs (MA) and Pharmacovigilance (PV) Learning Academy team.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

•A Identifies, initiates, and implements mechanisms/tools/processes for learning and communication initiatives in order to build “Best in Class” practices

•Comes up with innovative training concepts, needs analysis and development of curricula. Identifies training needs and ensures the effective implementation, communication, and maintenance of training programs to address identified needs; develops a training curriculum to address skill gaps

•Performs analysis of customer feedback relevant KPIs, QA findings etc. for needs identification for communication and training initiative development

•Creates/implements training initiatives and opportunities leveraging instructional design techniques and strategies that enhance web based, ILT, and blended instruction, and communicate information regarding training via various media types

•Manage projects of assigned learning initiatives to ensure efficiency of operation in learning development and delivery

•Cooperate with respective learning development teams including e-learning instructional designers or the functional subject matter/training experts as applicable

•Analyze required learning outcomes and identify solutions in order to maximize learning effectiveness and minimize business risk, and (in liaison with assigned teams) ensure reflection of agreed solutions in final deliverables

•Manage facilitation/delivery and continuous improvement of assigned learning events (virtual/physical) and support specific assigned learning events

•In close cooperation with the central learning management system (LMS) administrators, drive the definition of required training assignment for nominated learning events, ensuring consistency and alignment with the overall role based training curricula of affected functions

Required Experience and Skills:

•Bachelor degree or equivalent certification specific to learning and training management

•Several years of proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry

•Strong portfolio specifically related to successfully meet learning outcomes

•Proven skills in creating and applying multi-media learning materials using modern authoring tools and technologies

•Excellent knowledge in applying training and communication relevant software

•Sound knowledge of learning theory and good understanding of forward-looking technologies and their potential application in asynchronous learning

•environments

•Strong cooperative and collaborative working style, with good project management, presentation and negotiation skills

•Ability to provide clear direction and purpose in many cultures and hierarchical levels across all functions

•Excellent English language communications skills both written and spoken. Multi language ability preferred
