Chemical Process Operator

Our premier chemical products manufacturing client in Mauldin, SC has an immediate need for an experienced Chemical Operator in a production manufacturing environment.

Position Overview / Responsibilities:

  • Operate cryogenic deburring machines and provide production mold line support

  • Operate Bin handling equipment, and other common material moving equipment

  • Be responsible for identification of and reporting of safety violations or concerns and be generally responsible for the duties that will be assigned to them

  • This position will be hands on manufacturing, interfacing with product and equipment

  • Provide support to team members in activities such as operation of chemical processes, loading and unloading tank trucks and rail cars and other operational activities as needed

  • Demonstrate excellent housekeeping skills, attendance and team work

Education and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED Required

  • 2 years’ experience as a chemical operator preferred

  • 1 year of manufacturing assembly / production experience is a requirement

  • Basic computer skills

  • Must work well in a team environment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrate good work habits (attendance, safety, housekeeping, etc.)

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • SAP basic knowledge

  • Forklift certification or heavy experience as a forklift operator

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work 24/7 rotating shifts

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs.

  • Must be able to work from heights to small contained areas

  • Must be able to wear a face mask/shield when needed

Other:

*Must be flexible on Shifts - 12 hour rotating – Nights and Weekends – Overtime Available *

Compensation: $15.65 per hour W-2 only (sorry no Corp to Corp)

Duration: 12 Months to start, extendable, potential C2H

*Drug testing and background checks will be conducted prior to hire and may include random testing once placed on assignment.
