Computer Task Group is seeking a Production Planner to work a one year contract position in Manassas, VA.


Process transactions in support of material requirements and availability for the manufacture of industrial and commercial products to support production control. Compiles records concerning quantity, cost, and type of material received, shipped, in stock or inventory, and/or in production. Expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules. Assists in determining possible and actual shortages and initiate action to correct these deficiencies; to include creating purchase requisitions and stock transport orders (STO). Uses knowledge of production, procurement, and engineering departments to communicate with stakeholders regarding potential risks and opportunities and appropriate corrective action. Manage and progress aged WIP. Support engineering change activity, to include, review and release latest bill of materials. Issue and assembled product to next higher assembly or independent demand and close requirement.
