CTG is seeking a Desktop Support professional in Madison, WI , to provide expert level technical assistance in support and preparation of desktop supported applications and hardware. This position requires extensive knowledge of and experience with desktop technology including, but not limited to, desktop operating systems, desktop applications, desktop hardware, laptop systems, desktop printer support, PDAs, Black Berries, other supported wireless devices and peripherals.
Location: Madison, WI
Duration: Long term
Tax Terms: W-2 (No C2C or 1099)
4-7 years of experience in Desktop Support
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
Able to work independently
3 years business office applications and administrative procedures experience
3 years customer service experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
4 years information technology - desktop support experience
3 years installation and maintenance of PCs experience
1 year Microsoft Office 2010 Suite experience
3 years experience with other skills such as adding memory, video cards, mother boards, hard drives
3 years Windows XP Pro experience
1 year internet tools, email clients – Outlook experience
4 years web browser - Internet Explorer experience
1 year operating systems - MS Windows 7 experience
