We are seeking an experienced e-Learning Developer who can create best-in-class e-learning solutions for a high-performing, global development team. This is a REMOTE long term contract position with a global technology company in the RTP area that offers a full salary compensation package with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401K, and paid time off!
As the e-Learning Developer, you will collaborate closely with a team of developers, instructional designers, multimedia specialists, and product subject matter experts to create sales-focused, technical digital learning solutions for an audience of internal sales representatives, external sellers, and retail audiences.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Creating engaging, effective e-Learning courses using Storyline 2 or other software as defined by the project and in accordance with defined style guides
Communicate efficiently and timely with SMEs, stakeholders, and team members globally and locally
Actively participate in special projects, initiatives, and programs as required
Maintain relevant project documentation
Document progress/status of assigned tasks for review by others
Reports regularly to Project Manager and informs other team members on assignments and progress
Remains current with technology tools and trends in Digital Learning
Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology or related degree
Master degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Corporate Training and Development preferred
3+ years’ experience as an e-Learning Developer or Instructional Designer
Proficiency in authoring tools such as Storyline or Adobe Captivate required
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop required
Experience creating training for global audiences
Experience working within sales teams preferred
Understanding and proven demonstration of effective learning theories for digital learning
Mastery in visual design and usability for e-learning and other types of digital learning
Intermediate skill level in Adobe CC including After Effects
Strong writing skills for assisting with end-to-end development
Knowledge of the technology industry is a plus
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities and projects change frequently
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Passionate about creating engaging interactive learning experiences
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
