POSITION/TITLE: Lab Technician
RATES: Pay $18 hour
Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist scientists in making qualitative and quantitative analyses of formulated products to make determinations for process techniques, quality control, or other evaluations. Other work involving experimental, theoretical, or practical application of chemistry and related sciences as required.
Position has broad variety of responsibility including analytical support, formulation development and problem solving. This position requires being a self-starter and flexibility. Analytical support includes-HPLC, GC, rheology, particle characterization, other physical chemistry testing. Formulation development duties includes producing both large and small scale batches to predetermined specifications and stability testing. Semi-industrial setting 50% of job, typical analytical lab 50%. On the job training would be a necessary part of the candidates initial role with our team.
